Caring for Dogs Emotional Well-Being
Many new clients struggle to integrate their dogs into busy schedules, leading to issues such as housetraining problems, nuisance barking, fear, destructive behavior, aggression, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Often, clients don’t realize that these behavior problems stem from their actions or inactions. A dog’s issues reflect family dynamics, so addressing its needs first is essential. We guide you in meeting those needs through visits to your home, on the street, or at the dog park.
Play, Learn, and Wag!
When dogs arrive at their new homes, they don't automatically know how to become perfect family pets. They need thoughtful guidance to help them adapt to their new environment and build positive relationships, which our dedicated team is passionate about providing. At Learning Canines, we're committed to improving communication between dogs and humans.

Dayschool Program: Enhancing Your Dog’s Daily Routine
Are your weeks too hectic to manage your dog's training personally? Our Dayschool Program offers an exceptional option for dog owners seeking structured daytime care that goes beyond traditional daycare. Designed to provide mental stimulation, socialization, and basic training throughout the day, this program is ideal for dogs who thrive on routine and engagement.
Before enrolling, it's important that all guardians are in agreement with the following requirements:
-
All new clients start with an Initial Consultation, during which we will take a thorough history, put together a plan, and decide on what future service options would best suit you and your canine companion.
-
When training your dog demand significant care and attention. Owners must commit to minimizing unwanted behaviors and ensuring safety throughout this program
-
Guardians should be ready to dedicate 20 to 30 minutes each day to notice meaningful progress.
-
Behavioral health lacks quick solutions; each dog's pace can take months or years to address reactivity.

“Working with Stephanie on Wixy's puppyhood was a great investment. We noticed some early behavioral issues and realized we needed extra support to help her become the wonderful dog we knew she could be. Stephanie exceeded our expectations, teaching Wixy much more than we imagined.
